Second Shiloh Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Inc. is a non-denominational organization. We, the members, are committed to the following principles which have been the focus of the Church since the day of Pentecost: restoration of the new testament teachings and practices, no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible, no name but The Divine- Jesus; where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent; in essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.

Major Duties:

• Provide spiritual leadership to the members of the church

• Prepare weekly services- including weekly bible studies

• Preach and oversee worship services

• Interpret biblical scripture

• Provide counseling (including crisis situations) according to the Word of God

 

Requirements for Applicants:

• Possess prior Christian leadership

• Provide proof of Ordination

• Meet the requirements as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7

• Submit a resume and complete an application

• Be interviewed by a panel.

• Provide letters of recommendation or contact information from qualified religious sources

• Show history of community service exemplifying Christian servitude.

• Consent to a criminal background and credit check

• Preach sermons and teach a series of Second Shiloh Bible Studies
